One man's Perceptions

Hey! Everyone I have been studying MLM since the first day my friend took part in Amway. Yes she really got me worried for a while, but as more I studied the structure, MLM is rather new trading structure where it has fundamental flaws.

MLM is merely a tool for company to distribute the product, but it is the existence of Motivational activities that is rotting the core of the MLM. Yet, the ignorant of the MLM Company given the kingpins power, in turn this king pins become so powerful that the company dare not dismiss them.

Yes, I’m not here as a victim, rather I’m an observer. Yes I don’t have many touching stories. So, guess what, I will use my ways to bring a new way to how people see the business. Because it is about time I think Malaysian utilize their brain rather fuelling them with dreams.

This is One Man’s Perceptions

    Hi Calvin,

    Kewl blog, keep it up.

There's so much destruction brought by these funny programs like asia works.

Beware, these are even more destructive to the society.

Worse still, you need to pay them.

that is the main problem of Amway. even their founders, and current directors admit, but they can't do anything about it.

most of the amway diamonds do not earn a lot of money from Amway, but they earn damn a lot of money from organizing motivation activities, and selling motivational stuff like books, tapes..bla bla bla...

ppl in LB and Amway are stupids, but all those ppl in Amway are actually more stupid than those in LB...

    Oh well Calvin,

    Why not rename your blog?

I mean, since you are going to talk more on MLM. Focus your blog's name to maybe..

    One Man's Perception on MLM

    That would be kewl :)

Amway, in fact uses far more deceptive tactics. It seems like there's mind control going on that's so strong the members can't seem to get out.

At least LB is more straight forward and offer you money, as it's nature is more like pyramid (hence good returns). But more blood spilled.

I got a friend in amway under network21. I have been through a few amway meetings, and i think it's just wasting time. And not to mentioned your money as well. Imagine my friend told me, he thinks spending RM 90 on 6 cassettes each month is a cost of doing business.

Some body got to stop them. Quit messing with our minds.

Btw, I have linked to you.

Amway? I thought Amway is just a direct sales company who tried to sales their 'non-others but Amway product' & at the same time try to recruit? Did I miss much? Coz I was never interested in all these MLM until my friend's bro got involve & well... must do something it seems.

amway also sells other brand products apart from its own brands. some of those are electrical household appliance that, according to some amway agents i know (my gf's family!), said are not sold elsewhere but thru amway coz of some specific agreement.

well i've seen it... but it's still an MLM and u cant run from having to recruit in order to "upgrade" ur level and rewards.

Ya, it's always annoying when they try to recruit... Even when they approach you with the product you feel uncertain... how good it is?

Amway to me is more like a memory where when I was young, there's an aunty from somewhere approach my (old friend?) with a big file to ask her to buy things & even join as member. As long as I remember, my mom will be polite to them but never join as member, reject with a smile... product wise, she might buy some if she's interested, but not much... Though she's probably good at handling troublesome ppl since she's the headmistress.

All the direct sale & insurance or credit card promotion are really not my cup of tea... the moment they try to approach me, it set of my mind-securiy alarm immediately... Just... naturally. Will buy things I like when I want...

Persuation (especially pushy one) just annoyed me so much & will keep me away instead of attracting me.

Oh sorry, not too focus tonight. What I wanted to say initially is that Amway seem to me like they will try to recruit 'reasonable target'...

LB set me mad coz they target innocent youngsters with the most unstable mind-set (age group transition period) & in such aggresive way (in term to get the money).

Hmmm... didn't know that Amway also got such an bad group~
Anyway, hope people won't get burned la~

Thanks a lot, i was almost get myself too involved.
Anyway, your last comment reminded me to always stay at an observer's position. Because only as an observer can make an unbias report!

Calvin, you're doing a very good job here. After all, our aim is to build awareness for those who seeks for info & unbias view... for those who willing to take on our sincere advice...

Though I really admire how Steven, urself, Andrew, LB help etc to have really high EQ & keep emotion stable. I was down yesterday seeing that terrible reply in Steven's blog...

Yes, like you say, we should stay as observer for better outcome.
