It's been 1 month since I've been behind the lines in the land of SYN.

In 1 month, I have seen how greedy man can be, and the sins that they can do to their fellow man. Friends, some say, are your worst enemy, because they will use the friendship to bait you.

If you value the friendship, and your SYNner friend asks you to join, do not desecrate the friendship by joining. Just say no and walk away. Cherish the memories of that friendship, because if you are to join, your friendship will degenerate into nothing more than a business transaction, where you are the loser from the get go.

Be there for them when they come out of SYN. For sure, they will feel ashamed and embarassed to meet up with their old friends/prospects. But to spurn them is a greater sin. Just like how prisoners who have turned over a new leaf are rehabilitated into normal society, so do ex-SYNners who have renounced SYN. They have been prisoners of greed and lies.

Then why did I go behind the lines?

Simple.

That's my job.

If he tries to put the blame on you by saying you didn't work or whatever just say you don't care because he took your stock and cheated you. You should ask him, ask his family, continue to bug him... where does he live? I hate these kinda people man.

My story is like this,

My upline took me to the LB office to listen to their marketting plan, at that time I was the very first upline he approached and he sounded very nice... caring... willing to help me do the business... he agreed to lend me the capital of RM2xxx to start the business because I told him I had not enough money to start and he told me that I can pay him back only when I got the money from the business because he had faith in me.

我被带我去DCHL的办公室去听他们的市场策略，在那时我是他第一个接触的下线，所以他的热忱与关怀，以及他答应协助我的承诺等等的。当我说我没有足够金钱进会，他更答应借钱给我。

So oklor I was thinking what the heck man I pay a little but get the stock from him which is worth even more... so okla I went to listen to the thing and he told me ok pay him RM150 first he will lend me the rest so I did lor... I paid him RM150.

所以，在他强烈的攻势下，我答应开始了。因为当时我想我只须付出区区的一百五十零吉，就可得到价值不菲的货物。

After few days he came back and told me some reason he couldn't sign me up la asked for RM600 instead... so oklor I gave him RM600 and then continue going for the meetings and NDO and all that crap. Finally he said his upline told him that uplines cannot lend money to downlines because it's not allowed in their business so he asked me to fork out RM2xxx lor.. and I was stuck because all my money was already with him and he told me that he already used the money to register me as a buying member. Later I found out it was fake because the money was with him all the while. So I was stuck la.

几天后，他却说他需要我付六百零吉才能帮我负担其余的会费。没有办法之下，我又给了他钱，然后便上了他们的聚会，以及给新会员课程。最后，他却告诉我说上线不应该借钱给下线，所以他需要我把全数付清。当我问及是否能把已付的钱退还呢？他却说他已经把它们用于报名/登记了。之后，我却发现我的钱一直都在他那儿。进退不得的心情，好无奈！

I decided to use credit card to pay. I had cash but I needed the cash for something else. Even then he asked me to use my cash and assured me I could earn back my cash in time. Now I think about it, good thing I didn't trust him otherwise I would not have any money left.

最后，我决定以信用卡付款，那时我是有足够的现金，但是那笔款项是另有别用的。奇怪的反应就是，当我答应付款时他却指定现金会比较好，更坦言保证我能在短期内赚回来。现在回想回去，还好我没有完全相信他，不然后果可能就是一贫如洗了。

So okla I swiped card but he cheated me as well. As you know Counts are allowed to sell their stock to their downlines but then they can only accept cash right? He didn't tell me this fact either. No wonder he kept telling me if can pay cash better la because paying by credit card would be very inconvenient for him. And that also means I must take whatever stock he has so I can't choose my oil or lamp. So I still swiped card at the counter but then I didn't swipe it for my own product. He made me swipe for RM2xxx worth of products which other uplines wanted to buy from LB. I swiped and his uplines gave him the cash of RM2xxx for the products which I have just swiped for. The downside to this is, I do not have any receipt from LB for my purchases so then I cannot return for my refund right? My receipt from LB were for the products for his uplines which I had swiped my card for. So I was stuck la how to refund?

当你认为误导的作风就到此为止，那接下来的更令人发指。冲突是这么发生的，我没有被告知伯爵是被允许把他们的货物买给下线，但是前提是他们只接受现金。所以，当我决定以信用卡付款时，他会那么的抗拒。其中潜在的理由是，如果付现金的话，我只能领取他手头上的货品。所以，进退两难之下，他说我必须帮其中的上线购买他们所需的货物，而我的上线就从中套取现金。所以，现在我所得的货品是他所囤积的，而单据又不在我的手上。这更使得退款难上加难了。

So after that I felt very cheated coz of all these facts he was hiding from me while he was asking me to go gather the cash. I feel very angry.

What can I do about this? I can give you my DHCL number but I need to search for it coz I deleted and burned all my LB related stuff already. If you want to know my upline I can provide you information about him.

Defining Google & Relevancy to MLM Companies

So, you all might wonder why I put this news report titled "Defining Google" on this post, first of all, I would like to address the issue of duplicity that MLM people always emphasized with their approach for recruiting new members. In the success of Google, it is the endless attempts of bringing creativity on the table that makes them stood out from the crowd of competitors. In contrast being a copycat won’t make you as successful as Google, at majority of MLM people will find themselves being the sources fuelling someone’s dream life. At the end these people who were at the base of the structure ended the business with shame and guilty, for bringing their loves one into such business, and worst, facing denial dramas when their whole journey in the business was teaching them to blame themselves for failure. (Above is supported with the report titled “Myth of MLM Income”)

Few years back before I start observing MLM companies, I came across a quote in an anime.

“The ultimate end of evolution is self-destruction.”

Somewhere along the movie clip, they did mention about their concerns on the uncommon rapid growth of Google. In order for Google to become a long lasting cooperate, the will have to cope with the speed of growth, and managing it carefully.

Similar to MLM companies, the growth of the network is always under the spot light. When they grow too fast, faster than they can handle, things will start to become wild. Deceptions, cults, and unethical practices will emerge within the network itself, eating the reputation of the company at its core. With such signs indicating failures within the core of Management, from these sorrows (1, 2, 3, 4, etc)we receive a clear message that action must be taken to prevent further harm to our people. Yet, no much action was taken remedying these unpleasant incidents, yet, the worse scenarios happen when authorities turn a blind eye on some incident.

So, some people like Dexter sought for the root of these problems, which is the company. Within a degree of extend, I do agree that the company should be accountable for the exploitation within the network. As one said:

"Deliberately breaking rules is fine; ignoring them is not -- ignorance is bad."

If the company enforce their regulation strictly when some bad apples deliberately breaking the rules, would there be so much heart breaking events?

Anyway, I’m not putting all the weight on the company itself, but they sure play a major role in the incident.

I'm a person who likes art, and since I have just written something regarding bad apples, I google and found this art work.

Somehow, the painting reminds me of apples. I love Granny Smiths, which is a type of apple in Green colour and originate from Australia.

Anyone noticed the bad apple in the painting?

P.S.:
The artwork is a property of New Zealand Academy of Fine Arts founded on 1882. In this post the painting is just merely serve as an irony contrast with my previous post.

Today, when I was reading news, I found some issues very similar with what Lampe Berger having rite now. So, let’s look at the following news.

Only a fraction - 40 people - have been sentenced to prison time for the abuse, according to the report by the human rights groups.

The groups said they researched and analysed tens of thousands of pages of government documents, interviews with witnesses and victims and previous Pentagon probes into the abuse.

Basic doctrine of military law is that commanders are responsible for the act of their subordinates," says Mariner, "So we should be seeing some kind of high level accountability or even mid-level accountability, but that is just not happening."

Lampe Berger, of course we can not accusing all of them being the unethical ones. I personally do believe that within that company still held a bunch of distributors that are doing the business honestly. But after reading through tons of negative feedback from the community, I began to concerns about the dominating group in Lampe Berger’s business.

Ethical Distributors Vs. Unethical Distributors

Which side is the majority? I don’t have exact figures, so I won’t be pin pointing anything. I just want to share a thought where I got from the quote:

"There were not just a few bad apples but it was in fact a systematic pattern of abuse,"

What if there are systematic pattern of abuses in the Lampe Berger’s so call legitimate business? So, please spend more time investigating the legitimacy of the MLM business before joining them.

Anyway, I’m not giving any personal opinion on the post-warfare happening between America and Iraq. So, just read as you like and don’t comment anything regarding the politics.

Hidden Information: A comment from Jeffery

Recently, I came across a comment by Jeffery. One of the 17 years old whom claim himself joined Lampe Berger.

From I noticed a lot of useful information. And yes, these information might not be so direct, so let me lead you (reader) through the journey of the BIG PICTURE.

The following text is two comments I retrieve from Anti Lampe Berger - Middle Class Mentality - 10:32 AM & 3:44 AM

Quoted:

“I face a lot of rejection from much more elderly people when I talk to them about LB. I was even condemning that LB was a cheat because I realized how hard it is to earn the big bucks in this business.”

From here we know that the business is not easy, and it requires a lot of hard work to accomplish a reasonable income.

(Let’s just assume the MLM system has no flaws)

So, what most of the Lampe Berger Distributor left out was, RISKS, and it was delivered by Mr Jeffery in the quoted text.

MLM distributors often intentionally left out the time & money needed for this business. Tactics approach such as saying starting it is just as simple as 1, 2, 3 to becoming a billionaire.

When a person joined into these so call “business”, the motivating classes tell teaches you that failure are due to personal reasons, not because of the flaws in these MLM businesses. Two contradicting facts under one same company, I wonder why!

After I read through “Merchant of Deceptions”, the author whom was once a high level distributor in Quixtar exposes the parallel business in Motivational Materials (such as, Seminars, Cds, tapes, trips… - which are non-refundable). The author mentioned that these Motivating Classes edify a distributor to blame them for failure, in order to keep those drop out to shut up. If this is not brainwashing I don’t know what is.

Quoted:

“As I said before, All our dreams will come true if we have the courage to pursue it.

And unfortunately, people like Asroof just join in the business and started full of energy and a big dream. But faced a few rejections, and then they died off. And now, posting in forums condemning about his loss, becoming a more sad person. Asroof, friend, no offence but what can negative cynicism accomplish?”

Personally, I think it is very sad if you are in a business and you need someone else to tell you that everything is okay. In a business one have to plan for the worst. And I do have to remind you all that planning for the worst scenario is not cynicism/negative. One the other hand, MLM distributors joining all the motivating classes seem to be clouding these MLM distributors’s judging ability. Try to look at these comments from LB distributors… “fucking” or “sucking” phenomenon

“After all, I admit that this business have also brought Joy and Sorrow at the same time to people.

Those who gets the sorrow are the people who join, faced a few rejections, can't cope with them, and then die off. And the lips of these sad people aren't zipped. They just go to the public negatively criticizing this whole industry, feeling that they're doing something noble. Oh please, if you're a loser, that doesn't mean everyone else is a loser.”

So, here is a good example on what I said just now, typical information control! Making those drop out feel even guiltier. Well, so much for those that claim MLM business can improve life.

Rich Dad, Poor Dad?!

A reply to our dear reader,

I don’t think you should 100% absorb what your read, please think through rather than just plainly accept what was fed to you.

Robert T Kiyosaki, indeed earn a great fortune, but from where he earn? So, here is some criticism I obtained from wikipedia. (If you are really lazy to read through the whole thing , please read the part that was underlined)

Why someone whom his success is not from building MLM business, why he allow/can give promote MLM business when he is NOT in the business? Vice versa, why when critics always being accuse for do not understand the business?

Isn't it strange when someone not in MLM promoting the business, they get supportive feedback, but when someone posts some critics, MLM distributors try every means to discredit you. I guess I should say, people tends to listen to what they want to listen, regardless how strong the fact is.

My personal opinion is MLM Company needs his book to be as a tool to kept their members’ mind diluted. Both MLM and Kyosaki are like co-existing creature, where each body needs the other to sustain their life. Kyosaki needs the dependency from the MLM companies to buy his books, whereas MLM companies needs to take credits from his book.

Yes, I know... I know, you all must be blaming me for posting only critics. Anyway, it seems to be a very likely case because every MLM distributor has to read his books! If you read through the book, you will find a lot of common phrase when you speaking with MLM distributor.

Criticism

Kiyosaki's books have been criticized for having lots of anecdotal lessons but almost no concrete advice. Many readers find his work highly motivational, but then lacking information to put it to use. It is also difficult to discern fact from fiction and anecdote in many of his works.

Some advice he gives is thought to be poor or even dangerous by other investors. For example, he advocates focusing on a few "good investments" rather than diversifying as well as "going for broke". He also downplays the importance of (traditional/tertiary) education, and claims that there is no correlation between increased education and increased income. This assertion is contradicted by various academic studies. Nonetheless, he absolutely stresses the need for financial education.

Some have questioned Kiyosaki's status as a successful investor and businessman prior to the formation of his present venture, CASHFLOW Technologies, Inc. They claim that his wealth has come only as a result of selling books and audio presentations about topics he has not personally succeeded in and that he is probably worth far less than the $50 to $100 million USD he claimed in an interview. They note he has claimed to be bankrupt as recently as 1985, a high school dropout and a deserter from the Navy. Some of these items do not agree with records and may have been stated for "dramatic effect". In several of his books he makes claims about his accomplishments which appear to be exaggerations, fabrications or misdirection.

People have speculated on the identity of his "rich dad" and whether this individual even existed, reasoning that such a man, whom Kiyosaki describes as "one of the richest men in the Islands", and his family who carry on his tradition, would have been very well known in as small a state as Hawaii. In the February 2003 issue of SmartMoney magazine, Kiyosaki backed off his claim that his "rich dad" was a real person, instead stating “Is Harry Potter real? Why don’t you let Rich Dad be a myth, like Harry Potter?”

Though he did not make his money in the industry, Kiyosaki is also an endorser of network marketing (i.e. Mary Kay, Quixtar, Tupperware, etc.) which some consider to be illegal pyramid schemes. He reasons in his book, The Business School For People Who Like Helping People, that the companies teach the skills necessary to be a successful business owner, like leadership, the ability to sell and teach, and emotional intelligence. Critics say he is brown nosing the industry to sell more materials.

Just when you thought all Lampe Berger’s Distributor were all smart, here is a very ridiculous news reported on PChome Online. The four links refer to the same accident that happened around October, 2005; whereas the report was reported on 19th of April 2006, due to some lawsuit press against DCHL for repaying the damaged of the distributor’s car.

(I wonder whether the MMA Insurance Certificate that they always claimed will be use to repay the distributor’s losses?)

The incident occurred due to few factors:

Unethical uplines telling their downlines to carry a lamp wherever they go.

“…依陳情人說法，該集團還鼓勵經銷商與消費者「帶著薰香精油瓶子走出去」…”

According to the victim, their organization promote their distributor and consumer to 「Bring along the lamps wherever they go」

Misleading information about the properties of ISOPROPYL ALCOHOL. In fact isopropyl alcohol is a flammable fuel doesn’t matter whether it is made from crude oil, or even plants. They still inherit the same chemical structure as an Isopropyl Alcohol.

張小姐：「我所接受到的教育，在公司裡面的教育，也是這個理療燈自己倒了之後，它並不會產生，它並不會起火燃燒，他就會跟你說，我們的異丙醇是純植物的，是什麼特殊的配方，法國來的特殊的配方，我自己的下線，或者是經銷商或者消費者，現在全部我都跟他們說請暫停使用。」

Miss Chong: ：「The material that I received and trained, it is directly from the company itself, there were claims mentioned about even if the lamp were tripped leakage will not happen, hence it won’t causes fire. In addition, they will said, isopropyl alcohol is made from plants, …」

By common sense she should know that flammable material should not put in a car. Yet, it really amazed me how summit she were towards every words her upline told her. (I wonder if the terrorist were trained in the same way, maybe motivating classes/seminars really did clouded her common senses)
Pregnant woman should not use Aromatherapy/essential oil.

Fact 3: Advertising

In my past experiences dealing with MLM people, when we talking about the over inflated prices on their product, they always claims that their PARTNER (I don’t really think it’s their partner, a.k.a. DCHL) is trying their best cutting down the price by NOT advertising and etc…

The statement were taken Anti-Lampe Berger’s blog from “Comments from LB”

“…MLM was just a industry or can say a sales method use by a company to promote their products,same as other business method!Cause with this method,they can save cost like advertising and so on but give it to the distributor who able to sells the products!...”

In the quoted comment from the unknown LB distributor, he stated that MLM does not need to advertise, unlike those conventional businesses.

There are 2 severe mistakes in this quoted text.

He/She did not clarify how much will it save on the product cost if they did not advertise!
He/She did not even bother read his/her DCHL company’s webpage, where DCHL do ADVERTISE!

I don’t think I need to provide any proof to his/her first claim, because in order for that statement to have some value, the second statement have to be 100% true. So, let me proof that DCHL do ADVERTISE!

Wow…. There are tons of advertisements solely at Malaysia’s media.

Inconsistent Claims & Facts

If your memories serve you well, you might recall most popular approaches from MLM Company to recruit people is something similar. From my point of view, such conversation is not 100% honest.

Distributor Agreement

2. I’m an independent contractor/businessman and NOT an employee or agent of the company and is NOT authorized to act on behalf or bind the company or its affiliates, shareholders, directors, officers or employees.

9. I agree that the company reserves he right and authority to reject this application without assigning any reasons whatsoever.

Condition NO.2 (underlined), “independent contractor/businessman” is merely a name to separate the responsibility of DCHL and distributor. If you were a partner of a conventional business, do you have rules similar to “NOT authorized to act on behalf or bind the company or its affiliates, shareholders, directors, officers or employees”? If a PARTNER that doesn’t have the power/authority to act on behalf of the company, what good does it serve? What difference does it separate from Salesman? Maybe just some fancy names for MLM distributor!

To my opinion, Condition NO.2 is that rule that protect the company if there were any deceptive cases were held against them.

(What good does it serves when one call themselves Independent Business Owner, yet still bounded by the lengthy rules similar to rules of a Salesman?)

It is a common practice for MLM Company to renew their distributor’s distributorship annually. The reason of having such mechanism is to filter out unethical practice distributor. Hence the Condition NO.9 serves as a protective measure. MLM Company just refuses to accept your renewal application will immediately put your business in jeopardy. So much to be your own business owner!

All these awards were not even shown in Lampe Berger Site. So, I wonder why they don’t use these awards as advantages to increase publicity. The reason for not having it on the main page was it because the only innovative award they received was on 1901? Or maybe they didn’t emphasis on the Healing properties, form the webpage, these lamps were treated more as an Decorative Product. Hmmm… from the majority of the awards, it seems to me that it look more towards Artistic Decorative Product/Luxury Item than awarded for it’s functionality.

“Taiwan’s Product Quality Assurance Award” – Judging Criteria were not provided/explained, these lamps were judge by their looks? The functionalities? Or etc… If you did enter DCHL Malaysia, you will realize that that certification does not provide any judging criteria, just plain paper with words in French. (Except the insurance document which were written in English, but that still doesn’t really provide any in-depth details)

What is Lampe Berger’s Market?

An aromatherapy product?
A luxury product?

From my point of view after reading through the Lampe Berger Site, I recognize it as a Luxury Item. One may ask what does Luxury Item means, and it is define as any item that is not essential to sustain our life can be consider as luxury items. Therefore such item’s price is not control by the government, and they can sell it with whatever price they want, but only when there is no deception involved. Did they use deceptive product? Guess it yourself!

Luxury items are always meant to be expensive because their market is small due to the facts that human survival does not rely on it. So, can you imagine everyone willing to purchase such expensive lamps when they claim their main goal is selling lamps? A lot of people still get paid for below a thousand ringgit, do you think people really buy lamps rather than pursuing the endless chain of recruiting? Even if one really bought these lamps, does he really need a lot of them, or does he really use them frequently? I wonder!

Here's a brief discription of this report,

The claim by multi-level marketing (MLM) companies of offering consumers a viable “part time income” or an “extraordinary income” greater than most other businesses or occupations is their hallmark attraction. It is also their greatest defense against persistent charges of pyramid scheme fraud, mind control and deceptive promotions. The question is whether MLM is a social and financial blight or a benefit to consumers. Legitimacy of this business ultimately hinges on the truthfulness or falsehood of its income claims. It is a question that affects the fate and fortune of more than five million new recruits in North America every year and countless more in other countries.

Hazardous substance Fact Sheet - Explanation

Of all the things I could talk, why I purposely posting a Long Technical Sheet?

First of all, I came across a few reports in Taiwan claiming that the product exploded while the user trying to boost his HEALING power with aromatherapy lamps – Lampe Berger’s lamps. The previous post shows the characteristics of ISOPROPYL ALCOHOL. It is a hazardous substance that exists in the scented fuel (from DCHL links, it’s known for being 90%), WOW, selling in such an expensive price using such substances… no wonder they can have such high commission plan.

Profile of Lampe Berger Essential Oils

There are 29 different essential oils. Each scent has their own special feature that will delight and please. The essential oils are composed of 90% Isopropyl Alcohol, 3-5% natural essential oil and 5-7% water.

Isopropyl Alcohol
Isopropyl Alcohol is extracted from the beetroot plant. It has a natural blending nature and is water soluble.

Ozoalcool
Mr. Maurice Berger discovered ozoalcool and had it patented. Ozoalcool blends with the essential oil which when diffused by the catalytic burner at a constant combustion temperature releases ozone into the air.

If you have already browser through the previous post, you will realize that such substance require delicate handling, so Lampe Berger Distributor out there, remember to tell your client to handle it carefully! (this is something that shouldn’t be ignored.)

Improper handling might cause adverse effects. Listen in “Other Long-Term Effects” section mentioned that – Effects may include reduced memory and concentration, personality changes (withdrawal, irritability), fatigue, sleep disturbances, reduced coordination, and/or effects on nerves supplying internal organs (autonomic nerves) and/or nerves to the arms and legs (weakness, "pins and needles"). Best of all, Isopropyl Alcohol may affect the liver and kidneys. Not to forget it is a highly flammable substance someone might get their house burned down.

There is another thing that I really can’t find in any chemistry books or even in Universities Data Base, that is the famous “Ozoalcool”, below is a description of how Ozoalcool works. Since they claim it is so magnificent, why it still hasn’t been seen on any Awards regarding chemistry? Doesn’t this raise any curiosity? And the argument that the have is that it is a business top secret, hmmm… from what I know patents mostly valid for about a decade. But the mysterious LB have patents over a hundred years. Hmmm… I wonder how they get the authorities to ignore this fact. (DCHL HK)

The description in Chinese said that claim that burning these lamps will release O^-, from what I known most of the time O^-are produced by passing oxygen through high voltage panel, but by burning fuel create O^-? I really never heard before, even my lecturer also don’t what is Ozoalcool, but he said it might be some fancy name for a simple thing.

(Maybe I just an “idiot”? Who knows~)

(if you still haven’t noticed, nowadays people prefer putting fancy names, such as Sales claiming that are “Product Managing Executive”, Direct Sales in Quixtar claiming themselves as “Independent Business Owner”, what do they really can themselves in Lampe Berger Network~ Winner? Business Owner?)

Okay, lets ignore “Ozoalcool”, lets concentrate on the fact that they claim the oxygen ion created will combine with O2 and becomes O3 (highly active will combine with any substance to return to O2, hence “Purification”). But hey, fundamental of chemistry, burning fuel consumed O2, since the lamps are suggested to use in concealed area. I wonder where they get so many O2 to be converted into O3, because during burning stage O2 already becomes CO2.

In summary,

Why Isopropyl Alcohol was chosen as the main ingredient?
Why such cheap flammable & dangerous ingredients were use, yet the prices for refueling are so high?
What is Ozoalcool? Why claiming it has miracle discover yet people can’t even find in any chemistry literatures?
I need experimental results, I need proof! So, Don’t give me Anti-Dust Mites Certification, Anti-Bacteria Certification, MMA Attestation 2004, MMA Insurance Certificate, ADEPHY Export Certificate. Showing me the certificate without mentioning about the judging criteria. That is not convincing. And the worse part is, no translation were found regarding such award in DCHL webpage.

Any Lampe Berger Distributor, Please ask DCHL at least pay some money for experimental work! I want Malaysian Certified Lab to test such product functionality!

HAZARD SUMMARY

Isopropyl Alcohol can affect you when breathed in and by passing through your skin.
Contact can irritate and burn the skin and eyes. Repeated skin exposure can cause itching, redness, rash, drying and cracking.
Breathing Isopropyl Alcohol can irritate the nose and throat.
Overexposure can cause headache, drowsiness, confusion, loss of coordination, unconsciousness and death.
Isopropyl Alcohol may affect the liver and kidneys.Isopropyl Alcohol is a FLAMMABLE LIQUID and a FIRE HAZARD.

IDENTIFICATION

Isopropyl Alcohol is a colorless liquid. It is used as a solvent and in making many commercial products. Rubbing Alcohol is a solution containing Isopropyl Alcohol.

REASON FOR CITATION

Isopropyl Alcohol is on the Hazardous Substance List because it is regulated by OSHA and cited by ACGIH, DOT, NIOSH, DEP, NFPA and EPA.
This chemical is on the Special Health Hazard Substance List because it is FLAMMABLE.

HOW TO DETERMINE IF YOU ARE BEING EXPOSED

The New Jersey Right to Know Act requires most employers to label chemicals in the workplace and requires public employers to provide their employees with information and training concerning chemical hazards and controls. The federal OSHA Hazard Communication Standard, 1910.1200, requires private employers to provide similar training and information to their employees.

Exposure to hazardous substances should be routinely evaluated. This may include collecting personal and area air samples. You can obtain copies of sampling results from your employer. You have a legal right to this information under OSHA 1910.1020.

ODOR THRESHOLD = 37 to 610 ppm.

The range of accepted odor threshold values is quite broad. Caution should be used in relying on odor alone as a warning of potentially hazardous exposures.

WORKPLACE EXPOSURE LIMITS

OSHA:The legal airborne permissible exposure limit (PEL) is 400 ppm averaged over an 8-hour workshift.
NIOSH:The recommended airborne exposure limit is 400 ppm averaged over a 10-hour workshift and 500 ppm, not to be exceeded during any 15 minute work period.
ACGIH:The recommended airborne exposure limit is 200 ppm averaged over an 8-hour workshift and 400 ppm as a STEL (short-term exposure limit).
* The above exposure limits are for air levels only. When skin contact also occurs, you may be overexposed, even though air levels are less than the limits listed above.

WAYS OF REDUCING EXPOSURE

Where possible, enclose operations and use local exhaust ventilation at the site of chemical release. If local exhaust ventilation or enclosure is not used, respirators should be worn.

Wear protective work clothing.

Wash thoroughly immediately after exposure to Isopropyl Alcohol and at the end of the workshift.

Post hazard and warning information in the work area. In addition, as part of an ongoing education and training effort, communicate all information on the health and safety hazards of Isopropyl Alcohol to potentially exposed workers.

This Fact Sheet is a summary source of information of all potential and most severe health hazards that may result from exposure. Duration of exposure, concentration of the substance and other factors will affect your susceptibility to any of the potential effects described below.

HEALTH HAZARD INFORMATION

Acute Health Effects

The following acute (short-term) health effects may occur immediately or shortly after exposure to Isopropyl Alcohol:

Cancer Hazard

Other Long-Term Effects

MEDICAL

Medical Testing

If symptoms develop or overexposure is suspected, the following are recommended:

Liver and kidney function tests.
Evaluate for brain effects such as changes in memory, concentration, sleeping patterns and mood (especially irritability and social withdrawal), as well as headaches and fatigue. Consider evaluations of the cerebellar, autonomic and peripheral nervous systems. Positive and borderline individuals should be referred for neuropsychological testing.

Any evaluation should include a careful history of past and present symptoms with an exam. Medical tests that look for damage already done are not a substitute for controlling exposure.

Request copies of your medical testing. You have a legal right to this information under OSHA 1910.1020.

Mixed Exposures

Because more than light alcohol consumption can cause liver damage, drinking alcohol may increase the liver damage caused by Isopropyl Alcohol.

WORKPLACE CONTROLS AND PRACTICES

Unless a less toxic chemical can be substituted for a hazardous substance, ENGINEERINGCONTROLS are the most effective way of reducing exposure. The best protection is to enclose operations and/or provide local exhaust ventilation at the site of chemical release. Isolating operations can also reduce exposure. Using respirators or protective equipment is less effective than the controls mentioned above, but is sometimes necessary.

In evaluating the controls present in your workplace, consider:

How hazardous the substance is,
How much of the substance is released into the workplace and
Whether harmful skin or eye contact could occur.

Special controls should be in place for highly toxic chemicals or when significant skin, eye, or breathing exposures are possible.

In addition, the following controls are recommended:

Where possible, automatically pump liquid Isopropyl Alcohol from drums or other storage containers to process containers.
Before entering a confined space where Isopropyl Alcohol may be present, check to make sure that an explosive concentration does not exist. Good WORK PRACTICES can help to reduce hazardous exposures. The following work practices are recommended:
Workers whose clothing has been contaminated by Isopropyl Alcohol should change into clean clothing promptly.
Contaminated work clothes should be laundered by individuals who have been informed of the hazards of exposure to Isopropyl Alcohol.
Eye wash fountains should be provided in the immediate work area for emergency use.

If there is the possibility of skin exposure, emergency shower facilities should be provided.

On skin contact with Isopropyl Alcohol, immediately wash or shower to remove the chemical. At the end of the workshift, wash any areas of the body that may have contacted Isopropyl Alcohol, whether or not known skin contact has occurred.

Do not eat, smoke, or drink where Isopropyl Alcohol is handled, processed, or stored, since the chemical can be swallowed. Wash hands carefully before eating, drinking, applying cosmetics, smoking, or using the toilet.

PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT

WORKPLACE CONTROLS ARE BETTER THAN PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT. However, for some jobs (such as outside work, confined space entry, jobs done only once in a while, or jobs done while workplace controls are being installed), personal protective equipment may be appropriate.
OSHA 1910.132 requires employers to determine the appropriate personal protective equipment for each hazard and to train employees on how and when to use protective equipment.
The following recommendations are only guidelines and may not apply to every situation.

Clothing

Avoid skin contact with Isopropyl Alcohol. Wear protective gloves and clothing. Safety equipment suppliers/manufacturers can provide recommendations on the most protective glove/clothing material for your operation.

All protective clothing (suits, gloves, footwear, headgear) should be clean, available each day, and put on before work.

Safety equipment manufacturers recommend Neoprene and Nitrile Rubber as protective materials.

Eye Protection

Wear indirect-vent, impact and splash resistant goggles when working with liquids.

Wear a face shield along with goggles when working with corrosive, highly irritating or toxic substances. Respiratory Protection IMPROPER USE OF RESPIRATORS IS DANGEROUS. Such equipment should only be used if the employer has a written program that takes into account workplace conditions, requirements for worker training, respirator fit testing and medical exams, as described in OSHA 1910.134.

Where the potential exists for exposure over 200 ppm, use a NIOSH approved full facepiece respirator with an organic vapor cartridge. Increased protection is obtained from full facepiece powered-air purifying respirators.

If while wearing a filter or cartridge respirator you can smell, taste, or otherwise detect Isopropyl Alcohol, or if while wearing particulate filters abnormal resistance to breathing is experienced, or eye irritation occurs while wearing a full facepiece respirator, leave the area immediately. Check to make sure the respirator-to-face seal is still good. If it is, replace the filter or cartridge. If the seal is no longer good, you may need a new respirator.

Be sure to consider all potential exposures in your workplace. You may need a combination of filters, prefilters or cartridges to protect against different forms of a chemical (such as vapor and mist) or against a mixture of chemicals.

Where the potential for high exposure exists, use a NIOSH approved supplied-air respirator with a full facepiece operated in a pressure-demand or other positive-pressure mode. For increased protection use in combination with an auxiliary self-contained breathing apparatus operated in a pressure-demand or other positive-pressure mode.

Exposure to 2,000 ppm is immediately dangerous to life and health. If the possibility of exposure above 2,000 ppm exists, use a NIOSH approved self-contained breathing apparatus with a full facepiece operated in a pressure-demand or other positive-pressure mode.

HANDLING AND STORAGE

Prior to working with Isopropyl Alcohol you should be trained on its proper handling and storage.
Isopropyl Alcohol is not compatible with OXIDIZING AGENTS (such as PERCHLORATES, PEROXIDES, PERMANGANATES, CHLORATES, NITRATES, CHLORINE, BROMINE and FLUORINE); STRONG ACIDS (such as HYDROCHLORIC, SULFURIC and NITRIC); HALOGENS; ALUMINUM; ACID ANHYDRIDES; ETHYLENE OXIDE; ACETALDE-HYDE; and ISOCYANATES.
Store in tightly closed containers in a cool, well-ventilated area away from METALS and COMBUSTIBLES.
Sources of ignition, such as smoking and open flames, are prohibited where Isopropyl Alcohol is used, handled, or stored.
Metal containers involving the transfer of Isopropyl Alcohol should be grounded and bonded.
Use only non-sparking tools and equipment, especially when opening and closing containers of Isopropyl Alcohol.

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

Q: If I have acute health effects, will I later get chronic health effects?
A: Not always. Most chronic (long-term) effects result from repeated exposures to a chemical.

Q: Can I get long-term effects without ever having short-term effects?
A: Yes, because long-term effects can occur from repeated exposures to a chemical at levels not high enough to make you immediately sick.

Q: What are my chances of getting sick when I have been exposed to chemicals?
A: The likelihood of becoming sick from chemicals is increased as the amount of exposure increases. This is determined by the length of time and the amount of material to which someone is exposed.

Q: When are higher exposures mo re likely?
A: Conditions which increase risk of exposure include physical and mechanical processes (heating, pouring, spraying, spills and evaporation from large surface areas such as open containers), and "confined space" exposures (working inside vats, reactors, boilers, small rooms, etc.).

Q: Is the risk of getting sick higher for workers than for community residents?
A: Yes. Exposures in the community, except possibly in cases of fires or spills, are usually much lower than those found in the workplace. However, people in the community may be exposed to contaminated water as well as to chemicals in the air over long periods. This may be a problem for children or people who are already ill.

Right to Know Information Resources

The Right to Know Infoline (609) 984-2202 can answer questions about the identity and potential health effects of chemicals, list of educational materials in occupational health, references used to prepare the Fact Sheets, preparation of the Right to Know Survey, education and training programs, labeling requirements, and general information regarding the Right to Know Act. Violations of the law should be reported to (609) 984-2202.

DEFINITION

SACGIH is the American Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienists. It recommends upper limits (called TLVs) forexposure to workplace chemicals.
A carcinogen is a substance that causes cancer.
The CAS number is assigned by the Chemical Abstracts Service to identify a specific chemical.
A combustible substance is a solid, liquid or gas that will burn.
A corrosive substance is a gas, liquid or solid that causes irreversible damage to human tissue or containers.
DEP is the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection.
DOT is the Department of Transportation, the federal agency that regulates the transportation of chemicals.
EPA is the Environmental Protection Agency, the federalagency responsible for regulating environmental hazards.
A fetus is an unborn human or animal.
A flammable substance is a solid, liquid, vapor or gas that will ignite easily and burn rapidly.
The flash point is the temperature at which a liquid or solid gives off vapor that can form a flammable mixture with air.
HHAG is the Human Health Assessment Group of the federal EPA.
IARC is the International Agency for Research on Cancer, a scientific group that classifies chemicals according to their cancer-causing potential.
A miscible substance is a liquid or gas that will evenly dissolve in another.
mg/m³means milligrams of a chemical in a cubic meter of air. It is a measure of concentration (weight/volume).
A mutagen is a substance that causes mutations.
A mutation is a change in the genetic material in a body cell. Mutations can lead to birth defects, miscarriages, or cancer.
NAERG is the North American Emergency Response Guidebook. It was jointly developed by Transport Canada, the United States Department of Transportation and the Secretariat of Communications and Transportation of Mexico. It is a guide for first responders to quickly identify the specific or generic hazards of material involved in a transportation incident, and to protect themselves and the general public during the initial response phase of the incident.
NCI is the National Cancer Institute, a federal agency that determines the cancer-causing potential of chemicals.
NFPA is the National Fire Protection Association. It classifies substances according to their fire and explosion hazard.
NIOSH is the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health. It tests equipment, evaluates and approves respirators, conducts studies of workplace hazards, and proposes standards to OSHA.
NTP is the National Toxicology Program which tests chemicals and reviews evidence for cancer.
OSHA is the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, which adopts and enforces health and safety standards.
PEL is the Permissible Exposure Limit which is enforceable by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
PIH is a DOT designation for chemicals which are Poison Inhalation Hazards.
ppm means parts of a substance per million parts of air. It is a measure of concentration by volume in air.
A reactive substance is a solid, liquid or gas that releases energy under certain conditions.
A teratogen is a substance that causes birth defects by damaging the fetus.
TLV is the Threshold Limit Value, the workplace exposure limit recommended by ACGIH.
The vapor pressure is a measure of how readily a liquid or a solid mixes with air at its surface. A higher vapor pressure indicates a higher concentration of the substance in air and therefore increases the likelihood of breathing it in.

FIRE HAZARDS

SPILLS AND EMERGENCIES

If Isopropyl Alcohol is spilled or leaked, take the following steps:

Evacuate persons not wearing protective equipment from area of spill or leak until clean-up is complete.
Remove all ignition sources.
Absorb liquids in vermiculite, dry sand, earth, or a similar material and deposit in sealed containers.
Ventilate and wash area after clean-up is complete.
Keep Isopropyl Alcohol out of a confined space, such as a sewer, because of the possibility of an explosion, unless the sewer is designed to prevent the build-up of explosive concentrations.
It may be necessary to contain and dispose of Isopropyl Alcohol as a HAZARDOUS WASTE. Contact your state Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) or your regional office of the federal Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for specific recommendations.
If employees are required to clean-up spills, they must be properly trained and equipped. OSHA 1910.120(q) may be applicable.

Eye Contact

Value of the Product

(Need Confirmation, anyone care to correct my perception? The most likely mistakes would be the Summation of the listed of Percentage, because the Marketing plan were not illustrated clearly. What was available on the DCHL webpage just a few lines of descriptions, doesn’t give a clear explanation, which I though it look really bad for such a big company)

The intention of this post for any Lampe Berger Dealer to clear my doubt, the following comes from DCHL webpage.

Secondly, I guess the GREAT DCHL made a very basic grammar mistake. Suppose to be ~ “Will be awarded AN Arch Duke Pin”

Arch Duke
Rewards-retailing profit - 42%.
Count Generation Bonus for a maximum of 6 generations: 5%, 3%, 2%, 1.5%, 1%, 1% i.e. giving a total of 13.5%.
Marquis Personal Group Bonus of 2% on all groups' sales generated by downline Counts.
Marquis Generation Bonus of a total 6% (based on total group points generated by downline Marquis for a maximum of 6 generations).
Duke Generation Bonus of a total 2% (base on total group points generated by donwline Dukes for a maximum 6 generations).
Marquis Asia Profit Sharing of a total 1.5% (based on total group points generated by downline Marquis for a maximum of 6 generations, and paid half yearly).

So, base solely on the percentage. My understanding is every product sold, a certain amount of the sales will be rewarded to the distributor. The maximum award is when he/she achieves the level of Arch Duke, so ultimately the products have to bare the commission.

Adding up the percentage commission, hmmm…

42%+13.5%+2%+6%+2%+1.5%+1%+1% = 69% hmmm… lets say you purchase a product cost RM100, a total amount of RM69 were funnel in the system as an commission reward, leaving RM31 for other cost.

But wait, the RM31 dollar doesn’t mean DCHL doesn’t have to charge you transporting fees, storage fees, various type of tax, DCHL worker’s fees. Hmmm… I wonder how much the RM31 left solely for the product. Perhaps maybe worth RM 23.45 over a hundred dollar of sales?

So, my next point is, with the extremely poor performance in Produce Vs. Value ratio, I wonder with an average income of RM 1,425. How many people would really buy such Lamp? How can people have the wealth to purchase such product?

So the main question is how you will approach people when they can’t afford to buy. You ask them to join the party, making it a recruiting scheme. That’s why Lampe Bergers distributor approach is selling people an Opportunity!

(In fact when they start to madly recruiting people and ask other people to INVEST RM30k, this action is a sign that indicate that Malaysia’s aromatherapy market has already reaching its saturation point.)

Looking at product substances, which is Isopropyl Alcohol. Try to look in the link, under the Safety Section,

“In sponsoring more distributors to join my network, I truthfully and honestly portray the earning potential of the company marketing plan and will make no specific earning representations or income guarantees, I shall conduct my business that will enable all other distributors to build their business in a just and fair manner.”

Well, please read the carefully, and then recall the last time you were approached by a Lampe Berger distributor who intended to recruit you as on of his down line. Did they truthfully and honestly portray the earning potential? Yes, many of them are smart enough to avoid being caught lying, they prefer not to brought up the risks. Isn’t this an act that portrays DECEPTION?

In most of the MLM Company, often inviting minority that succeeds in the network to present speech, showing their lifestyle’s VCD. As for Lampe Berger, they prefer showing off their luxury cars such as BMW/Volvo/etc… This is definitely an act that indirectly implying that joining the network will deliver promising wealth. Misleading people into believing the promising wealth by disregarding the risks and the facts, is this ethical? So, tell me! Did they violate this particular rule?

Indeed, the act of deception that performed by these unethical distributor is hard to quantify, in fact it is even hard to prove in court case. But being hard to prove doesn’t mean that they are right. Somehow or someway by gathering people’s voices I believe that even the untouchable skies can be shook

Here is another dose of my experience.

This few days while I’m reading comments on a few blogs, I came across something similar with my past experiences dealing with MLM people. After a long meeting where the atmosphere was lifted to the level where people just being in the state of overwhelming happiness. People start to shout/clap hands, people smiling in tears as if they have just saw Jesus/Muhammad/Buddha… but in reality nothing was ever there. Maybe people who compile dictionary might need to redefine the meaning of "mad". Were they mad? I think they are merely being Happy for no good reason.

Here's something I would hope readers can think through carefully. It is a brief conversation similar I experienced.

Prior to meeting… a “not so close” friend calls me…

LB (Friend): "I would like you to join me with a convention, would you be free?"
Me (Idiot): "Okay, What is it about? Do you mind telling me what the topic of the convention is?"
LB (Friend): "Just come la, it would be very useful for you…"
Me (Idiot): "Okay, but if it's MLM I'm totally not interested"
LB (Friend): "No, it is someone giving a talk about OUR DREAMS"

(Above tactics are often use to lure people to attend, this is information control = Deception! Later I was told that if the lies are meant for good intention, ultimately she will lie anyway.)

Okay, here she uses a short story where a low class person who had no dreams at all (Against MLM), until one day one of her upline given him the opportunity by lying to that person, few years later the poor guy wear suits and talk confidently. So, according to her the moral of the story is by lying to get other people into success position is a noble act. First of all, not everyone is good in sales, and furthermore there are many factors contribute to one's success. So, sorry if it is a lie, it will remain a lie to me regardless what the intention is, the fact that I really can accept is that, even if someone was brought into the business with a noble intention, can he be guaranteed for achieving success? …

Finally on that day, things started with a very high… after along meeting where very few things makes sense… the story gets even better with the following conversation…

LB (Friend): "How do you think about This Business? Isn't it great?"
Here comes another guy in a suit approaching us…
LB (Someone else): "You must be grateful to have her as a friend, she really cares about you! So, how do you think about the Business?"

Up until that moment, no lamps were introduced, not even a singe feature was mentioned…

Me (Idiot): "Emmm… I can't seem to be able to describe the strange feeling I have been having… I think it must be the fact that I don't like the hype."
LB (Someone): "Are you the one that just came back from your studies at UK? From the looks you must be a smart person. You are certainly someone our organization craves for."
(In fact that day I didn't even dress properly, what I wore was T-shirt + shorts + Nike Slippers – Smart looking? Hmmm… I have a great doubt on the sincerity of that word. Call me abnormal or what ever you may think of; if things would go another way where he criticized about my appearance I would be happier, maybe I might give him a big hug – who knows?!!)
LB (Friend): ….

(She didn't talk… but from her looks, she don't seems to agree with him on the comment regarding my appearance)

LB (Someone): "You are very lucky to have this opportunity that she brought you here to enlighten your thoughts."
(Hmmm… sounds like similar thing on what he talks about just now, maybe they repeating for the sake of me – perhaps assuming that I have hearing problem? or just want to exploit the friendship I had with her?)
LB (Someone): "You looked like still not convinced! You see, your friend, as a girl have the guts to take up such a great opportunity, and since she so desperately share it with you because she cares about you, she won't being apart of things that doesn't work, wouldn't she? So, later you must thank her personally."

… Without giving me a time to talk, he continues…

LB (Someone): "Just now you said you dislike the atmosphere, but this is the nature of this business, where everyone being happy and helping each others, without such atmosphere, this business can't really
operate smoothly."

(ha-ha~ here he unknowingly admit to me that LB operated in MLM requires Motivating Class to operate – but according to my research, motivational class are not compulsory in any given MLM due to the fact they claim themselves being Legal MLM. So what is the true agenda from these kingpins? Scamming poor + old grannies money?)

Me (Idiot): "I thought that is pyramid thing! Luckily you are not"

LB (Someone): "No, we are not in the corrupted team! But I do have to apologize for my 'partners', because they have been using the companies names for their own pyramid agenda. Shame on them!"

(hmmm… Why they always claim that there is a small group of people in the business exploiting the pyramid thingy? But they always not in that team, they always claim they are in the winning team)

LB (Someone): "So, still got doubt? No worries I'm here to clear them up"

Me (Idiot): "hmmm… I am not comfortable the fact that this business need to draws a bunch of circles and showing opportunity rather than showing product! My father once told me that any business that can't be described clearly in few sentences is a scam. Furthermore, when I was in university, one of the lectures who study math told me that it is impossible to sustain such structure, because it is similar to nuclear chain reaction but in MLM, the problem remains on market saturation!"

LB (Someone): "Your lecturer don't know anything, they don't even in the system!"

(Maybe I have been poking with a lot of sensitive question, but he mentioned SYSTEM instead of BUSINESS… hmmm… SYSTEM = Pyramid)

LB (Someone): "eh… you follow up your friend la… he seems to have quite a lot of doubt… you deal with him first, I have to follow up someone else…"
(Hmmm… why suddenly run away, when all the fun has just started?)
… later on that day, my friend ask me to drove her all the way to some stall, where I was like a driver to her… hmmm… isn't LB people all have to buy a fancy car? Or maybe the RM 30K was use to buy herself a count instead a car~ or maybe Kancil is not a good materialistic stuff that will blind people's judgment at first sight?

Do you all found some common amongst these LB people? When they want to sell stuff to you, they always have time regardless on how long it takes. But when you told them you just want to meet up with them, or call for a ex-classmates gathering, they always say they have no time or they not interested. And yet we were expecting to accept that, whereas on the other hand when we turn their offer down, just don't dare to imagine/recall.

Anyway, here's this episode of my point of view. (Hopefully I can get another invitation to get into the office and given the opportunity to ask some serious questions. Project – infiltrate DCHL!)

Hey! Everyone I have been studying MLM since the first day my friend took part in Amway. Yes she really got me worried for a while, but as more I studied the structure, MLM is rather new trading structure where it has fundamental flaws.

MLM is merely a tool for company to distribute the product, but it is the existence of Motivational activities that is rotting the core of the MLM. Yet, the ignorant of the MLM Company given the kingpins power, in turn this king pins become so powerful that the company dare not dismiss them.

Yes, I’m not here as a victim, rather I’m an observer. Yes I don’t have many touching stories. So, guess what, I will use my ways to bring a new way to how people see the business. Because it is about time I think Malaysian utilize their brain rather fuelling them with dreams.

Well, my name is Jeffrey and I am an independent distributor of DCHL.

I am 17 years old and still in school studying for SPM.

My upline is my brother who is a marquis. Surprised that I'm 17 yet doing this business?

This business has really changed my life. I am an extraordinary 17 year old teen. I was previously introvert and a passive person.

After being influenced by this business, I am a changed person and I am deeply satisfied with the changes inside.

I am now a leader in school, church, community and in SYN.

I have read this blog over here.

You guys really have a lot of energy. I really admire that.

But this energy could be put into better use.

I always believe that in a system, if there are successful people, the problem is not with the system, but the YOU yourself.

I invested RM30k. My family is just middle class. I borrowed from my parents. I have a BIG DREAM.

I want to do BIG business. But sadly, I'm not born with a golden spoon in my mouth. That's when network marketing/MLM comes in. With a small fee, I could be learning more about life and business. I can build up a place to earn my residual income.

Guys, I'm not trying to preach that you guys stop condemning LB. Go ahead, condemn all you want.

There are many talented and energetic individuals in this forum.

Condemning like this won't change your life. Stop being such cynical and negative people. Then, you will taste success.

These are words from a 17 year old.

You might call me naive, but I have the audacity and courage to pursue this business and face the difficulties in this business.

I face a lot of rejection from much more elderly people when I talk to them about LB.I was even condemning that LB was a cheat because I realized how hard it is to earn the big bucks in this business.

This is the time when I transformed into a man. I didn't want to be one of the many losers in our society. All of us had BIG dreams. But only a handful of us can achieve them. Because many of us couldn't stand the amount of pressure society and e.g. this forum impose to MLMers.

Gentlemen, good things don’t come easy and MLM certainly isn't easy. Try to be in my shoes or other distributors in any MLM. Then, you'll know.

I truly wish all of you success in whatever you do. And for the network marketing industry, trust me; it won't topple down no matter what you gentlemen say.

Yeah, here I am again.

Anonymous, probably you are right. I should stop posting as everyone here is looking at me and laughing their heads of to see me in this so called "scam".

I can tell you one thing for sure, that when every pioneer sets out to do something, he will always face all these challenges.

And guys, don't worry.

I invested in count about 8months ago. I am now a marquis. One of the youngest marquis in Malaysia.

As for my brother, he is going to challenge for Duke within this year with the Lord's grace.

As I said before, All our dreams will come true if we have the courage to pursue it.

And unfortunately, people like Asroof just join in the business and started full of energy and a big dream. But faced a few rejections, and then they died off. And now, posting in forums condemning about his loss, becoming a more sad person. Asroof, friend, no offence but what can negative cynicism accomplish?

So yeah, call me dumb, naive, unique, lucky, bold, or whatever. You can all say all you want. After all, I admit that this business have also brought Joy and Sorrow at the same time to people.

Those who gets the sorrow are the people who join, faced a few rejections, can't cope with them, and then die off. And the lips of these sad people aren't zipped. They just go to the public negatively criticizing this whole industry, feeling that they're doing something noble. Oh please, if you're a loser, that doesn't mean everyone else is a loser.

I must admit that the threads posted are very powerful to break the hearts of the new distributors.

But those of us who are like me, have the heart and courage to really pursue our dreams and don't give up easily, we will succeed.

Watch for my name in these few years. I will arise in DCHL as the youngest Duke. Why? Because I am a positive person and won't waste my time trying to bring down a legitimate business. I use my time to do something that can bring me results and benefits.

That is why being one of the youngest Marquis, I can lead my team consists of adults, elderly people, and people who had told me, "Jeffrey, go back to 4sc1 and read your biology book. Stop thinking about business, it is not the right time"

That is why this 17 year old is different.

I am now a dynamic leader today for SYN, school, church and the society. I am not saying that you guys are not leaders. I am sure that there are a lot of you guys in the forum who are leaders in a way by being in the ambulance when all of us are having CNY celebrations, and giving treatments to those in need.

But however, posting in a forum like this with full of cynicism and negativity does really tell me a lot about the character and the upbringing of each and everyone of you.

Ultimately, I am in this business for the long term and it will provide me the residual income I want for me and my family. If anyone of you who are already in this business, but participating in this forum because you can't face the difficult part of this industry, then look for me. I can be of help.
